The Chisholm Trail Museum offers field trip opportunities for students and outreach living history programs for your classroom.
Living History Outreach
Living history is a tool used to engage students and adults by providing eye-witness accounts of events using historical clothing, objects, and creative storytelling. These special programs bring history to life and help connect the audience to the past. Presentations vary based on audience age.

1870s Cowboy - Zoom in the Classroom
Program Fees:
The fee for outreach programs held at a school in the greater Oklahoma City metro area is $50
The fee for outreach programs held at a school outside of the Oklahoma City metro area is $100.
The fee for our 1870s Zoom in the Classroom is currently waived.
*additional fees apply for setting up the full chuck wagon at offsite locations. Please contact the museum for details.
