Heirloom Care: Caring for Family Photos Join us at the Chisholm Trail Museum on May 2 for an introductory class on caring for family photographs and documents. Rachel Mosman, Photo and Digital Assets Manager for the Oklahoma Historical Society will introduce methods for organizing and preserving your own family photograph treasures and discuss resources available for participants. Cast Iron Cooking for the Family In this casual, fun class, children and their parents will learn to care for and cook in cast-iron cookware. Participants will create a Dutch oven delight and participate in a group meal. The class will explore family friendly historical and modern recipes while learning how to cook in your backyard. All materials needed for the class will be provided. This class is restricted to adult and children ages 10 and older. The cost for the class is $40.00 per adult/child pair and $15.00 for an additional child. Preregistration is required. All participating children must be accompanied by an adult. Wanted: Dead or Alive The Chisholm Trail Museum will host Wanted: Dead or Alive, August 28 – October 30, 2020. This traveling exhibit from the Oklahoma History Center features images of some of Oklahoma’s most infamous criminals. Images from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the University of Oklahoma Western History Collections, the National Archives, and the Oklahoma Historical Society include mugshots, crime scene locations and group shots with criminals, and law enforcement officers.
