Chuck Wagon Gathering
What: 
Join us at the Chisholm Trail Museum for a day filled with cowboy fun at our family friendly event. Drop in and see a variety of working chuck wagons from across the region as they prepare some of their favorite dishes. Activities include live music, cooking demonstrations, gunfights, Wild West Show performers, and more. Activities run from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. ​
When: 10:00 - 3:00 March 25, 2023
Who: Family Friendly!
Cost: FREE!

Barn Quilt Workshops 

​Barn Quilt Workshop (Two workshop dates!)
What: Join us at the Chisholm Trail Museum on July 21 or July 22 for our summer Barn Quilt Workshops. Barn quilts, square-shaped boards painted to resemble a quilt block and placed on any structure, have evolved into a rural development initiative to boost tourism in communities. OSU Extension Educator Lindy Hoel will lead both workshops and each participant will complete their very own Barn Quilt to display at home proudly. Please get in touch with the museum at (405) 375-5176 to reserve your place. Lunch is included with registration.
When: Either July 21 or July  22, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Where: Chisholm Trail Museum
Who: Adults or teens with a parent
Cost: $50.00 (lunch included)
 
**Payment must be received to secure registration. Registration is limited to 24.

Cast Iron Cooking - Registration Coming Soon ​
Cast Iron Cooking                     
What: In this casual, fun class, participants will learn to care for and cook in cast-iron cookware. Participants will create a Dutch oven delight and participate in a group meal. The class will explore historical and modern recipes while learning how to cook in your backyard. All materials needed for the class will be provided. This class is restricted to adults and children ages 10 and older. The cost for the class is $30 per person, or $50 per pair, and preregistration is required.
When: October 28, 2023, from 12:00 - 5:00
Where: Chisholm Trail Museum
Who: Adults and children over the age of 10 with an adult.
Cost: $30.00 per person or $50.00 per pair.
 
**Payment must be received to secure registration. Registration is limited to 30.
